Thank you to the many parents who came along to the Rode celebration on Wednesday. We battled on through the rain and electrical glitches and heard the children’s original poems, prayers and songs. Families, you overwhelmed us with your generosity and we had a delicious harvest feast, enjoying the bread rolls that Paddington Class had made and BFG’s chutney, not to mention Mrs Duncan’s blackberry jam! On Thursday I delivered the remaining bread and butter, along with the enormous collection of dry goods, to Fair Frome Foodbank. They will weigh it and let us know the total we managed to collect. Thank you for your kindness and generosity and thank you to the FRANS team who helped to serve the food and tidy away.
