A massive well done to all the children who took part in our fantastic School Poetry Slam! We were treated to 16 incredible performances, and we were so impressed by the confidence and enthusiasm on display. It takes a lot of bravery and creativity to stand up in front of your peers and perform a poem from memory, and every single participant did an amazing job. The standard was higher than ever this year, making it an incredibly tough decision for Miss Anderson and Mrs Slade as they chose the winners.

A huge congratulations to our Classical Competition winners:

And a big well done to our Freestyle Competition winners:

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and supported this fantastic event. We are so proud of all our wonderful young poets – we only wish we could have recorded every single performance!
