This week Gruffalo and Elmer Class were visited by Sergeant Hales. He talked to us about what police officers do and how they help us. We learnt the number to call in an emergency 999; and that we need to tell them our name and where we live. We also learnt about stranger danger and how we can keep ourselves safe. Sergeant Hales bought in some of his uniform which we tried on and we had a go at taking our own fingerprints with a special fingerprint kit! We also talked to Inspector Asfour on the police radio before we got to see the police van!
