Year 3 Gymnastic Festival

This Wednesday the year 3 children went to Liberty Gym in Frome to take part in an exciting gymnastics event organised by IG Sports. The children were put in mixed groups with children from Vallis and Nunney school and were divided between 8 exciting activities. The children could vault into a foam pit, swing from high bars, practice their pull up skills over a foam pit, balance on a beam and climb a high rope, to name but a few of the exciting things on offer. All the children had a fabulous time, made some new friends and want to do the morning all over again! Mrs Muxworthy was there but did not accept the challenge of the parallel bars or rope climb!
