What a fabulous week BFG class had at Mill on the Brue. It was a real privilege to join them for several days and to watch them flourish. So much learning taking place around friendships, self-esteem, overcoming difficulties, resilience in the face of high walls and rain. The photos on the class blog perfectly captured moments of trepidation before a jump, the grimace of determination, the relief of being back on the ground and the sheer joy of racing down the waterslide while your friends applaud you.

Every single child stepped out of their comfort zone one way or another, whether it was learning to keep trying, managing their own belongings, dealing with disappointment, showing empathy and care for others, or trying new and exotic foods!

We are so proud of our year fours and the way in which they conducted themselves at the centre around others. There were beaming smiles from parents and children as they were collected.
